The Tri-City formation DRALBAN has existed in its current line-up since September 2022. Their music is based solely on improvisation. They have no songs, do not want to have any and never have had. They are more a group of performers than musicians. Their inspirations reach deep into the traditions of free jazz, krautrock and industrial, up to guitar noise like Sonic Youth Records or post-industrial such as Merzbow.

It is a quartet with two basses. In their music they are uncompromising and radical; it is very hard to label what they play or attach it to any genre. With them, music seems to unhook from all conventions and fly into space.
